Hello and welcome!
My name is Katarina, a paramedical tattoo specialist and founder of Scartistry Studio in Pyrmont, Sydney.
My journey into restorative tattooing began with a quiet realisation: everyone carries scars, but not all of them are visible. While I may not be able to heal the burdens people carry within, I discovered that I could help restore the ones that remain on the surface. That understanding became the foundation of my work, using artistry, precision, and compassion to help people reconnect with their bodies after surgery, trauma, or life’s unexpected marks.
Today, I specialise in advanced paramedical tattooing, with a focus on 3D areola and nipple restoration following mastectomy and gender-affirming procedures. I also provide scar camouflage for surgical, accidental, and self-inflicted scars, alongside stretch mark treatments using pigment or inkless skin rejuvenation techniques.
My work further extends to specialised restorative procedures, including belly button (navel) restoration after surgery, refinement of webbed toes, and custom pigment work designed to restore visual balance and natural appearance.
To refine my craft, I trained extensively across Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, studying internationally recognised techniques in medical tattooing, pigment science, and advanced scar camouflage. This global training allows me to bring the most progressive restorative tattooing methods to clients here in Sydney.
I have designed Scartistry Studio as a private sanctuary, where your privacy and safety always come first. Unlike high-volume salons or clinics, the space is quiet and one-on-one, created to help you feel at ease, supported, and comfortable throughout your restoration journey. I don’t just match pigments- I hold space for your story, ensuring every procedure is guided by care, respect, and your individual needs.
